MONETT, Missouri — April 9, 2010 — EFCO, a Pella Company, is launching a new Super Service Center in centrally-located Springfield, Mo., creating new jobs in the process.
According to EFCO’s Director of Storefront James Bateman, the facility will manufacture and provide coast-to-coast access to stock lengths, fabricated materials, and EFCO entrance doors for commercial construction needs.
The renovated facility at 2030 North Alliance in Springfield, Missouri, is expected to open in mid-summer and employ about 20 people initially, and will also serve as headquarters for EFCO’s expanded storefront operations.
“Our goal in expanding to Springfield is to provide service and storefront product capability that will support EFCO customers with shorter lead-times and reduced freight costs,” Bateman said. Storefronts can range from a single store to multi-story structures for retail shopping centers, schools, universities, hospitals, office buildings, churches, and all types of government or institutional buildings.
