Congratulations to Ryan Thomassen for receiving the 2013 Glass Magazine Best Project Manager award! Ryan is a Regional Supervisor in the Customer Service - Direct Projects group. He was nominated by his manager, Erick Randles, after overseeing the completion of the Wrigley Building a Historical Landmark renovation project.

“Ryan has been involved with the project from the onset of renovation,” says Erick. “Based on the extreme logistical challenges required to not only produce but to stock the material at the job site, extensive work had to be done upfront to ensure the production schedule aligned with the customers’ expectations. Ryan expertly managed the project through daily challenges that included unforeseen conditions due to removal of existing openings, occupied space tenants, evolving schedules and inclement weather.”

To determine the winners, Glass Magazine asked the industry to submit nominations. After the editors narrowed down the nominations to three finalists, the industry chose the winners by voting on-line at GlassMagazine.com. Thousands of people voted in this year’s awards program. Ryan was recognized in the September issue of Glass Magazine and the e-glass weekly on GlassMagazine.com.

EFCO has had nominations for Best Project Manager two years in a row. Jonathan Mayberry, also a Regional Supervisor for Direct Projects, was nominated and was a semi-finalist for the 2012 Glass Magazine award. Congratulations to both Jonathan and Ryan for their outstanding achievement. Thank you for your integrity and dedication in helping create a better view for all of our customers!
